Psych Foundations has always been passionate about helping people.

As founder of Psych Foundations, Aricka Kesic-Sellers has spent much of her career working in an outpatient setting, but as she started to provide care in long-term care facilities she realized that there was a desperate need for improvement related to behavioral health care services.

Residents of long-term care facilities are some of the most underserved, especially when it comes to caring for their mental health needs. They often feel isolated and lonely, which can lead to depression and even worse outcomes. Psych Foundations works as a partner with the patient, the family and the staff of the long term care facility so that everyone is on the same page and there is no confusion about what each individual needs from one day to another. By working with everyone, we are able to facilitate a positive environment that residents can thrive off of.

Extension of Current Staff

Psych Foundations offers to become an extension of current staff by providing behavioral health care while also training and educating staff on how to handle situations that arise. This increases staff productivity and makes staff more efficient - giving them more time to provide care in other areas.

Partnership

We are not a vendor for your Facility that does moonlighting work to supplement their main source of income. We are a partner whose sole job is to support Nursing Homes and their care for Residents. We strongly encourage effective communication and we are approachable. When you call us, you aren’t sent to a hotline and we are available 24/7.
